Rob joined the Somersett team in 2019 with over 20 years of golf experience. Originally from Indiana, Rob moved to Tucson, AZ after graduating from Indiana University to begin his career in the golf business. While there he met his wife Jess and earned his PGA membership in 2006. In 2008, they moved to San Francisco to serve as Head Professional at The Presidio for almost 7 years. The Presidio was a great opportunity where he enjoyed building relationships and working to improve the facility each day. He then moved on to Head Professional at Bonita Bay Club, a private club in Naples, Florida then onto Jacksonville, Florida as the General Manager of Eagle Landing Golf Club. Rob and Jess were eager to get back to the west coast and settled in Reno in search of his next opportunity while Jess earned her graduate degree from UNR. Rob looks forward to the continued success of Somersett, growing the membership and continuing the great experience the Club has to offer.

Corey Hobbs, PGA, is the Head Golf Professional at Somersett Golf & Country Club. A PGA member since 2023, Corey has been part of the Somersett team since 2013, serving over 10 seasons as an Assistant Golf Professional. A graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy, he also gained experience with TaylorMade Adidas Golf, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and ArrowCreek Country Club before finding his home at Somersett. Beyond the Club, Corey coached the McQueen High School Boys’ Golf Team to two Northern Nevada 5A Regional Championships and has officiated playoff basketball games across the region with the Northern Nevada Basketball Officials Association since 2009. With deep roots in both golf and the community, Corey is dedicated to providing an exceptional member experience and inspiring growth in the game.

Stuart's journey in golf spans over three decades, marked by unwavering dedication and remarkable achievements. From his early days as a promising junior golfer to his collegiate endeavors at UCLA, Stuart's passion for the sport has driven him to excel both on and off the course. Despite the challenges along the way, including his pursuit of a spot on the PGA Tour and his transition to golf instruction, Stuart's commitment to the game has remained steadfast. Today, he stands as a respected figure in the golfing community, recognized for his leadership, teaching prowess, and enduring impact on the sport. Robert has been a Class A Golf Course Superintendent for 20 years. He has been the Superintendent at Somersett Golf & Country Club since it’s inception where he worked directly with the golf course designers at KBR Design overseeing construction and the responsiblity for grow-in and opening of all 27 holes. Robert also performed the grow-in of Arrowcreek Golf Course where he opened that course and was course superintendent of ArrowCreek’s 36 holes. Robert also was the Regional Superintendent for a major golf management company in Northern Nevada and Northern California. Other previous positions include Spyglass Hill, Newport Beach CC, and Palm Valley CC.

Al Rogers brings over 40 years of leadership experience in education, coaching, and local government to his role as General Manager. A longtime Reno resident, he has managed golf operations, budgets, emergency response, and legislative affairs—giving him a strong foundation in both public service and club management. Previously serving on the Board of Directors, Al now leads Somersett Golf & Country Club with a focus on stability and strategic progress. He values data-driven solutions, financial accountability, and open communication with members and staff. His commitment to the Club’s long-term vision and collaborative leadership style make him well-equipped to support the team and strengthen the Somersett community for years to come.

With years of experience in hospitality, business development, and community engagement, Michele brings a warm, relationship-focused approach to Somersett Golf & Country Club. A Bay Area native, she began her career in Clinical Research within the Bio-Tech and Pharmaceutical industries before discovering a passion for personal connection and service. Alongside her husband, she co-owned a successful restaurant and catering company in Silicon Valley, where she led sales and client relations while raising their three children. Now living in Reno, Michele is excited to be part of the Somersett community. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for both current and prospective members. Michele takes pride in building meaningful relationships and helping members feel at home from the moment they arrive. With a focus on delivering personalized service and fostering a strong sense of community, she looks forward to helping members make lasting memories at the club.

Kevin has been a Nevada Resident for 40 years, both in Las Vegas and Reno. He comes with an array of knowledge in Gaming, Finance and Accounting. Kevin started his career with MGM International working his way up through Cage operations to Director of Cage/Credit and Collections. His resume includes Excalibur Hotel and Casino, Bellagio, Circus Circus, The Venetian and Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway. Kevin also branched out into the government non-profit sector as Director of Finance and Administration for Sierra Nevada Job Corps.

Hailey’s career in administration began as an office assistant in high school, where she developed strong organizational skills. While earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she worked as a receptionist at Lexus of Reno, quickly advancing to Service Administrator and then Warranty Administrator. She later joined Acura of Reno, where she gained experience in inventory management, accounts payable & receivable, and title processing over nearly eight years. In 2017, Hailey transitioned to the golf industry at Red Hawk Golf & Resort, refining her accounting skills and discovering a passion for the field. She joined Somersett Golf & Country Club in 2020 as Accounts Payable, expanding her role to support staff with daily backend processes. With self-taught expertise in the club’s software system, Hailey provides troubleshooting, training, and ensures smooth operations. Her efforts help streamline workflows, enhancing both internal efficiency and the member experience.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Nancy has called Reno home since 2000. She brings over two decades of hospitality leadership with a strong focus on operational excellence, menu innovation, and guest service. Most recently, she served as General Manager at Napa Sonoma, where she enhanced guest experience and streamlined costs. Prior roles include overseeing three full-service restaurants at Napa South, Napa Plumgate, and Hard Water House, managing 105 staff and leading large-scale food and beverage operations. Nancy also spent 14 years at Resort at Red Hawk as Food & Beverage Manager and Catering & Events Manager. Her expertise spans fine dining, banquet operations, wine and whiskey programs, and concept development. Nancy’s extensive experience and warm leadership style make her a valuable addition to the Somersett team.
